Two families, one decision first: voltage

High voltage 95-260V magnetic systems run without a separate transformer. The M25 slot at 25 mm suits smaller fixtures and residential rooms; the M35 slot at 35 mm suits larger fixtures and commercial interiors. Low voltage 48V systems trade the transformer for a safety margin that many commercial sites prefer, in 20 mm, 26 mm ultra-thin, belt and semi-flexible formats.

Fixtures that click in

Spot, grille, flood, linear and wall-wash modules share the rail and can slide, swap or multiply without rewiring. Surface, recessed and suspended mounting use the same rail family with different parts.

Control, when you want it

Selected systems add WiFi or remote control for switching, dimming and colour temperature adjustment from an app. Confirm the control route for the exact series before ordering gateways or remotes.

Ceiling first: surface, recessed or suspended changes the parts list, not just the look, so fix the mounting route before lengths.

Voltage second: high-voltage runs drop the transformer, 48V runs add a power supply that needs a home and a load calculation.

Slot or cut size third: M25 against M35, or the exact ceiling cut, decides which fixtures can ever join the system.

Control fourth: switching, dimming and colour adjustment are per-series options, confirmed for the exact model, never assumed across a range.

Load and length fifth: total fixture load and run length size the power supply with headroom, a calculation worth having in writing.

Samples last: one rail, one fixture, one ceiling corner. A sample corner exposes more than a catalogue ever will.
